A popular music duo wowed fans with a surprise appearance at TRNSMT.
Noughties superstar Craig David and RnB artist Wes Nelson initially blended in with the crowds of revellers at the Glasgow Green event 'in disguise' with bucket hats and sunglasses.
Not a part of the original line-up, the pair made their way through the festival grounds to have a go on the dodgems at the funfair section.
Former Love Island star Wes took a spin alongside unsuspecting festival-goers, meanwhile, Craig slipped into the DJ booth.
Suspicion started to grow and then Craig revealed his identity and asked the crowd if they wanted to hear a couple of his most famous hits.
He performed fan favourites Rewind and 7 Days before Wes joined him for their new collaborative single Abracadabra.
The surprise appearance at the festival’s funfair added an electrifying boost to the start of the weekend’s festivities, marking it as one of the most unforgettable opening performances in the history of this iconic Glaswegian event.
Speaking about the surprise gig, in partnership with Rockstar, Wes said: “It was a vibe surprising people with Craig, he’s a legend and I love performing with him.
"Since Craig and I weren’t originally part of the festival's lineup, performing on the dodgems added to surprise, it was a lot of fun."
Craig added: "Teaming up with Rockstar Energy Drink to surprise festival-goers at TRNSMT was a great vibe, I had a lot of fun."
Sarah Mahoney, marketing manager at PepsiCo, said: "We are excited to strengthen our partnership with some of the most beloved festivals in the UK and ensure that this year’s TRNSMT festival experience is unforgettable for music fans.
"Collaborating with Craig David and Wes Nelson for this surprise performance is just one example of how we're injecting energy into unexpected moments this festival season, delivering memorable experiences at fans' beloved events."
