A child has been rushed to hospital after an incident on a residential street in Rutherglen.
999 crews raced to Burnhill Street in Rutherglen on Saturday afternoon amid reports of a young child being hit by a car.
A young boy was taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children to be treated for his injuries.
No details were given on the child's age and current condition.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.35pm on Saturday, July 13, 2024, we were called to a report of a road traffic collision involving a boy and a car on Burnhill Street, Rutherglen.
"Emergency services attended and the boy was taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow for treatment."
