A derelict building in Airdrie was deliberately set on fire in broad daylight last month.
The property on Airdrie Road in the Caldercruix area was targeted at around 4.15pm on Friday, June 28.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The incident is being treated as wilful and officers are urging the public to get in touch if they know anything about what happened.
Extensive enquiries have been carried out and officers are appealing to the public.
Detective Constable Waddell said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information which may assist us to get in touch.
“I would ask anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have seen anything suspicious or who may have private CCTV or dash cam footage which could assist to contact us.”
