Police raced to a Glasgow shopping centre amid 'concern' for a man.
Officers were spotted at Drumchapel shopping centre on Tuesday afternoon.
Multiple cop cars and an ambulance could also be seen in the area.
We reported earlier that a man had been taken to hospital, but police have now confirmed that they were called to a report of 'concern for a man'.
The 43-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be checked over.
He was then arrested and charged in connection with an alleged breach of the peace.
The force has said he was due to appear in court today, Wednesday, July 17.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.20pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, we were called to a report of concern for a man in Kinfauns Drive, Drumchapel.
“Emergency services attended and a 43-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be checked over.
“He was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with a breach of the peace and was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.”
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call to attend Drumchapel Shopping Centre.
"We dispatched one paramedic response unit and an ambulance to the scene and transported one male patient to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
