Emergency services were called to a fire near a street in Clydebank.
Firefighters responded to the scene in a field near Braes Avenue after the alarm was raised at 8.09pm on Wednesday night.
Two appliances were sent to the scene to help tackle the issue.
One local claimed the fire was started as a result of wood and bins being set alight.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 8.09pm on Wednesday, 17 July to reports of a fire near to Braes Avenue, Clydebank.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances where crews extinguished the fire.
“Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
