A Glasgow pub has announced its shock closure two years after opening.
The Bakehouse on Great Western Road in the West End has sadly shut its doors.
The boozer - which was previously known as The Crafty Pig - was named after the history of the site where Walter Hubbard’s bakery and tearoom once stood in the early nineteen hundreds.

In 2022, we reported how the venue opened its doors following a 'substantial refurbishment'.
Before the bar took over the venue, it is understood it was home to Mexican restaurant El Jefe's.

Revealing the closure, a statement on the pub's website reads: "The Bakehouse is now closed."
Currently, it is unclear why the venue has shut down or when it officially closed its doors.
