A 13-year-old girl has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash.
Old Edinburgh Road in Uddingston was closed earlier today following a collision at around 2.20pm.

It is unknown what caused the crash, but Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.

However, taking to X this evening, cops said the road has since re-opened.

They added that the female teen was taken to University Hospital Monklands as a precaution.
