Cops are looking to track down a ginger man after an 'assault' in Dumbarton.
The incident took place on Cumbrae Crescent North at around 7pm on Sunday, July 14.
Following the alleged attack, a 47-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection and released pending further enquiries.
Now, cops are keen to trace down a man who is described as having ginger hair and stubble, around 20-years-old, and of heavier build.
Detective Constable Hanley said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with private space CCTV or dashcam footage within the area at the time of the incident to come forward.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland added: "Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3946 of July 14, 2024."
