Glasgow's M8 is set to close overnight for two consecutive weekends.
Due to essential repairs on Cornwall Street and Kirkwood Street Footbridges, the M8 will be closed in both directions from Junction 21 (Seaward Street) to Junction 23 (Ibrox).

The closures will take place over the weekend of July 27 and August 3 from Saturday at 6pm until 1pm on Sunday.
A further two extended overnight closures are also required across the M8, in both directions, between Junctions 19 (Anderston) and 24 (Helen Street).
Drivers are now being advised to avoid travelling through the location and emergency vehicle access will not be maintained.
However, signed diversion routes will be in place.
