A Ted Lasso star is bringing his critically acclaimed alter-ego Mr Swallow to Glasgow.
Nick Mohammed will be performing at the Theatre Royal with Mr Swallow in a new show, Show Pony on May 25 next year as part of his 2025 live tour.
The show follows a successful UK tour and extended West End stint in 2023.
Tickets will be available for fan pre-sale now with general sales starting on July 26 from nickmohammedlive.com.
Mr Swallow described Show Pony as "payback for everyone who didn’t come to the last tour".
He said: ''Once bitten, twice shy. It is with the deepest pride that I subject the nation to another bout of Mr. Swallow. And this time, I won’t even be doing the whole thing on roller-skates.''
The show promises a blend of humour, covering his absence from sitcom to a critique of critical race theory.
Nick, also a two-time Emmy Award nominee, is one of the UK’s most celebrated comedians, actors and writers.
He received appreciation for past Mr Swallow performances – Dracula, Houdini, and A Christmas Carol-ish, and his first ever tour, The Very Best & Worst of Mr Swallow.
Currently, his acting endeavours include roles in The Ballad of Renegade Nell on Disney+ and Douglas is Cancelled on ITV.
Known for his catastrophic stint on Channel 4’s Taskmaster, he will soon be seen in a lead role alongside Bryce Dallas Howard and Orlando Bloom in Prime Video’s Deep Cover.
He was also nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series at the 2021 and 2022 Emmys for his role as Nate in the multi-award-winning series Ted Lasso.
Additionally, Nick was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for Best Comedy Performance for his work in Sky TV’s Intelligence, which he created, wrote, exec produced, and co-starred, alongside David Schwimmer.
