A child has been taken to hospital after an incident in a park.
We previously reported that multiple ambulances were spotted at Cambuslang Park on Monday evening.
An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times they saw an incident response unit on the scene.
It has now been confirmed that a patient was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow following the incident.
Their current condition is not known.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 16:59 on July 22 to attend an incident in Cambuslang Park.
"Two ambulances and a special operations response team (SORT) were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.”
Police Scotland told the Glasgow Times they were no called to this incident.
