A busy Glasgow Road has been closed after a young girl was hit by a car.
Police say they were made aware of a crash between a motor and a 13-year-old girl on Nitshill Road in the Southside.
The force was alerted to the incident shortly after 6.10pm on Tuesday, July 23.
999 crews raced to the scene where the teenager was then taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers say Nitshill Road remains shut at its junction with Loganswell Road and Inverse Avenue.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were made aware of a collision between a car and a 13-year-old female pedestrian on Nitshill Road in Glasgow shortly after 6.10pm on Tuesday, July 23.
"The girl has been taken to the Royal Hospital for Children for treatment.
"Nitshill Road remains closed at the junction with Loganswell Road and Inverewe Avenue."
