Images show hero emergency workers on the scene of a collision on Glasgow's M8.
Multiple vehicles have been involved in a crash on the eastbound motorway near junction 13 Provan interchange.
The road has been closed and there are delays as a result.
A group of police officers, firefighters and ambulance workers are all working hard following the incident.
In images taken at the scene, the aftermath can be seen, including several damaged cars.
Police have put local diversions in place and are urging people to avoid the area.
A spokesperson said: "The M8 in Glasgow is closed eastbound at J13 following a crash that happened around 1.10pm. Emergency services are in attendance. Local diversions are in place and road users are advised to avoid the area."
