A Glasgow flat was 'taped off' after an incident in the area.
Police tape was understood to have been erected around the property on Garturk Street in the city's Govanhill on Wednesday afternoon, GlasgowLive reports.
Several officers and cop vehicles were called to the scene.
The force confirmed that a 36-year-old man had been assaulted in the area.
They had been made aware at around 4.15pm on Wednesday, July 24.
He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital and police are currently investigating what happened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "An investigation is under way following a report a 36-year-old man was assaulted in Garturk Street, Govanhill, Glasgow.
"Police were notified around 4.15pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. The man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital and enquiries are ongoing."
