A woman has been attacked after a 'huge fight' broke out in Glasgow city centre.
A post shared widely on social media claimed an incident broke out between a large group of youths near St Enoch Square on Wednesday evening.
A concerned local said: "I have just witnessed a huge fight break out down at St Enoch."
Another called the act 'shocking behaviour'.
Cops revealed that they had been made aware of an assault on a woman at the scene.
They have launched an investigation into the shocking attack.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a possible assault on a woman in St Enoch Square area of Glasgow on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.
“Enquiries are at an early stage.”
