Police were called to a 'serious' incident in a Glasgow pub.
Officers descended on the premises on Govan Road in the Southside area on Saturday night.
They responded to reports of a serious assault taking place inside.
A 49-year-old man has been rushed to hospital to be treated for what the force describes as 'serious' injuries.
An investigation into what happened is underway.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.25pm on Saturday, July 27, 2024 officers were called to reports of a serious assault within a premises on Govan Road, Glasgow.
"A 49-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
