A Glasgow-based beer appreciation group will be celebrating its fifth birthday with a beer-filled party.
Glasladies Beer Society, a group for beer-loving women and non-binary people, will be celebrating the Beer is for Everyone Festival on November 16 at Drygate Brewery and is inviting everyone to join the fun.
The events will run from 2pm to 9pm and include a range of independent breweries and vendors to raise funds for charities.
Returning to the event are local breweries Simple Things Fermentations, Dookit Brewing Co., and Up Front Brewing.
New additions include vendors from south of the border and Scotland's first cider bottle shop, Aeble Cider.
Sarah Christie, a member of the Glasladies Admin team, said: "One of our core group tenets is inclusivity.
“We always strive to design our events to appeal to as wide a demographic as possible because, as the name says, beer is indeed for everyone.”
The festival will also include vegan, gluten-free, and low/no ABV beers to cater to varying dietary needs.
From every ticket sold, £2 will be donated to Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH) and The Women’s Centre, Glasgow.
Tickets are now on sale at https://tinyurl.com/B4EFestival2024, with a limited number of early bird tickets available.
A raffle will also contribute to the funds raised for selected charities.
Glasgow brewery Simple Things Fermentations has shown continuous support for the festival.
Phil Sissons, owner and brewer, said: "The Beer is for Everyone festival is one of our favourite events in the calendar.
"It is well organised and the Glasladies always go to a lot of trouble to look after us, making sure everything runs smoothly and attending to the details as well as the bigger picture.
"There’s a genuine desire to make the festival work for everyone - breweries and guests - and that makes for a really enjoyable and rewarding experience.
"We’ll always be there.”
