The lead singer of a famous band will perform at a new Glasgow festival.
Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro fame is set to take to the stage at Core, a celebration of noise, a festival dedicated to 'heavy' music.
It is the second to take place after a successful debut in the West End last year, and this year it will be held at Woodside Halls and the Hug and Pint from August 2 to 4, 2024.

They’ll be joined by banjo-toting trio Show Me The Body Dublin band Gilla Band, US emo/indie band Glitterer, metal heavyweights Employed to Serve and more.
This year's festival will also host the debut live performance from OMO, a new project from members of Mogwai, Desalvo and Take A Worm For A Walk Week.
