An area of Glasgow has been sealed off after a cyclist was hit by a truck.
The horrific incident occurred at around 5.20pm near Alexandra Parade in the city's East End.
Cops are on the scene of the collision, which has resulted in the closure of two roads.
Alexandra Parade is currently shut between Easter Craigs and Cumbernauld Road in the city's East End.
Meanwhile, Cumbernauld Road is also closed to all traffic between Bannatyne Avenue and Alexandra Parade.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.20pm on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, we received a report of a crash involving a truck and a cyclist.
"Emergency services are in attendance."
