'Avoid the area' warning issued as busy Glasgow road to close
An 'avoid the area' warning has been issued as a busy Glasgow road is set to close.
Alexandra Parade in the East End will be shut from Hanson Street to Whitehill Street from 7.30am on Sunday, August 18 until 4.30pm on Friday, August 23, each day.
Glasgow City Council say the closure will be in place to allow resurfacing works.

During it, drivers are being warned to expect delays, while they are also being urged to 'avoid the area'.
