Cops were called to an 'incident' in a property on a residential street in Hamilton.
Officers descended on Kelvin Gardens in the town on Wednesday morning.
The force said they were responding to a report of a theft in the home.
An 18-year-old woman was arrested and later released without charge.
It is understood that investigations have concluded into what happened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.30am on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 officers received a report of theft from a property at Kelvin Gardens, Hamilton.
"An 18-year-old woman was arrested and released without charge."
