Part of a street will be closed for over two months while an office building is demolished.
Plans are underway to pull down Montrose House in Hamilton, which was formerly used as offices for South Lanarkshire Council.
The public body is advising locals that the pedestrian path on the east side of Montrose Crescent will be closed from July 30 until October 1.

This is in order to put up scaffolding.
Local diversions will be in place, but pedestrians will be unaffected on Almada Street and cars are not affected.
A spokesperson said: "Demolition works are currently being undertaken on Montrose House, Hamilton. A short section of footway on the east side of Montrose Crescent will be closed between 30 July and 1 October 2024 to facilitate scaffolding. Localised pedestrian diversions will be in place.
"There will be no restrictions to pedestrian flow on Almada Street and vehicular traffic will be unaffected."

Meanwhile, Regent Street shopping centre will be demolished to create a mixed-use development with housing at the forefront.
Council Leader Joe Fagan said: “This is a bold and exciting proposal that would totally transform the look and atmosphere of Hamilton town centre."
