Glasgow drivers are being asked to avoid a road in the Southside of the city which will be closed for essential lining works.
Battlefield Road will be closed to all traffic between Battlefield Place at the Battlefield Roundabout to Grange Road from Tuesday, August 6 between 8 am and 8 pm.
A local diversion will be signposted taking motorists through Langside Road to Grange Road.

A Glasgow City Council spokesperson said: "Drivers are advised to avoid the area during the above period."
