HavanaBlonde and the Mini Guns have been confirmed for the the 2024 Kirkintilloch Canal Festival.
The festival, which runs on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1, is organised by the East Dunbartonshire Council and various partners.
HavanaBlonde and the Mini Guns will be part of the Saturday evening concert which will also include a DJ, presenter Greg Summers and fireworks, accompanied by musical maestro Greg Friel.
The next day, Southbank Marina, Kirkintilloch Baptist Church (Shamrock Street car park), Cowgate, Barleybank, Regent Gardens, and the Kirkintilloch Police Station grounds will host a variety of activities and attractions.
Additional events include the Spirit of Alba Festival in Kirkintilloch Town Hall, a celebration of spirits and craft beverages from around the world, and boat rides on the Forth and Clyde Canal available on the day.

Councillor Gordan Low, leader of East Dunbartonshire Council, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming thousands of people to Kirkintilloch as part of this year’s festival, which includes a free live music concert on Saturday 31 August.
“The Sunday Funday is also taking shape – providing an opportunity for people to get active, have fun and enjoy everything the town has to offer.
“The festival is a great way to provide entertainment for residents and visitors, and a boost for the local economy.”
This year’s festival is supported by EventScotland’s National Events Funding Programme and resources from the council, granted by the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund.
