A yellow weather warning for 'heavy rain' has been issued by the Met Office.
The forecaster expects showers to sweep across parts of Western Scotland from around 6pm on Sunday until 9pm on Monday.
It is understood that Glasgow will not be directly affected however areas in East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, South Lanarkshire, and West Dunbartonshire will be.
The Met Office is warning of some disruption during this period.
What to expect
- Spray and flooding on roads potentially making journey times longer
- Bus and train services possibly being affected with journey times taking longer
- Flooding of a few homes, businesses, and campsites is possible
Around 20mm to 40mm of rain could fall within the warning area.
The forecaster also expects strong winds and possibly thunder.
