Police Scotland is looking to hire civilians to investigate crime.
The authority is searching for investigators to join the team to help with large-scale investigations, work on fatal accident inquiries, resolve complaints and more
The roles are based across the country, including in Dalmarnock and come with a salary of £30,629 a year – £590 more than the starting pay for a trainee recruit, according to the Daily Record.
On the application, it states the job requires Higher National Certificates (HNCs) or experience in the Criminal Justice System.

The Scottish Police Federation (SPF) said qualified officers should be hired instead.
SPF deputy general secretary Lorna Cunningham said: “The SPF is disappointed to learn that Police Scotland is embarking on a recruitment campaign following on from cutbacks on officer numbers and overtime members faced in the last financial year to assist them in balancing the books.
“This is on top of the redundancy process they undertook to cut payroll costs further. If the service finds itself with money to play with, we would welcome news on our pay claim more than hearing about the recruitment of these posts when we are already seeing police officer numbers fall to levels not seen in over a decade.”
