A man was taken to the hospital following a hit and run in a Coatbridge.
The 42-year-old was involved in a collision with a car on Carnbroe Road at around 12.25pm on Monday.
His injuries are unknown but he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police claim the white Kia Creed with black roof involved in the collision made off. They have launched a manhunt for the driver and believe the vehicle will have damage to the front of it.

Road Policing Constable Fraser McEwan said: “I’m appealing to anyone who was in the Carnbroe area at the time and may be able to help with our investigation to come forward.
“Did you see a white Kia Ceed with a black roof? Have you seen a vehicle matching this description with damage to the front? Do you have private CCTV, doorbell footage or dashcam which could help?
“Anyone with information on the collision or the vehicle is urged to contact us on 101 quoting reference 0061 of 5 August, 2024.”
