A woman was taken to hospital after a serious assault in Glasgow yesterday.
The incident took place around 7.30pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 on Gilbertfield Street in Ruchazie.
Police Scotland has confirmed that armed officers were deployed to the attack, which involved a bladed weapon.
Following the emergency response, a 49-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Inspector Willie Downie said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact officers.
“I would also urge anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
