Glasgow Subway has issued a 'busier than usual' warning ahead of a concert taking place in the West End.

Liverpool rockers Echo & the Bunnymen will take to the stage at Kelvingrove Bandstand for two nights Thursday and Friday. The doors for the event open at 6.30pm.

Ahead of the show, Glasgow Subway took to X to post: "Heading to see Echo & the Bunnymen at Summer Nights at the Bandstand tomorrow? 

"Kelvinbridge is your nearest Subway stop.

"We expect the station to be busier than usual so please plan ahead and travel with your Smartcard to avoid queues."
