A thug who spat on a police officer's face and told another he would plant a bomb under his car has been jailed for 18 months.
Norry Broadley, 29, lashed out at constables Robert Isaacs and Craig Barr in Glasgow's Govanhill on March 8 2024.
Broadley was enraged after he was ordered to leave a convenience store for being heavily intoxicated.
After an altercation with a man outside, Broadley was arrested.
He then told officers: "I will do you in, that's not a threat, that's a promise."
Broadley threatened to spit on both officers before he was put in a cell van where he then kicked the door.
He went on to attempt to headbutt PCs Isaacs and Barr before a spit hood was applied.
Broadley made further threats while in the cell van stating that he would "take you on."
He then struck his head off the wall of the cell van and was later violent while at the police station.

Prosecutor Hazel Kerr told Glasgow Sheriff Court: "Broadley was able to move his spit hood to the side and spat at PC Barr, making contact with his face.
He told the officer 'I'm HIV positive' and said to PC Isaacs that he would stab him in the neck."
Broadley then went on to attempt to headbutt the officer.
He stated he would wear a balaclava and "shoot you with a sawn off shot gun and put a bomb under your car."
Broadley pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner as well as two charges of assault.
Frank Moore, defending, told the court that his client was intoxicated at the time.
The lawyer added: "There were no prospects of these threats being carried out."
Sheriff Joan Kerr told Broadley, who appeared from custody, when jailing him that prison was the only realistic option.
