A DOCTOR will stand trial accused of sexually assaulting two women at a hospital.
Lawrence McAlpine, 68, allegedly groped them at Glasgow's Ross Hall Hospital.
Court papers state that McAlpine was acting in his capacity as a consultant doctor conducting medical examinations.
It is claimed that McAlpine touched the first woman on the breasts on July 21 2021.
A second woman was also allegedly touched on the breasts by McAlpine on August 6 2021.
McAlpine, of Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire, denies two charges of sexual assault.
His trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court has been set for October this year.
