A new cafe could open in the city's East End if planners approve.
A planning application has been submitted to Glasgow City Council asking for permission to turn a vacant unit into a cafe/restaurant with hot food takeaway.
The plans at 528 Carntyne Road include the erection of a flute.
Drawings accompanying the plans show that the cafe would have a seated area as well as customer toilets.
Those behind the proposal state the venture would open Monday to Sunday from 11am to 9pm.
A decision is expected on the plan by Thursday, September 26 and the last date for comments is Wednesday, September 4.
