A top Glasgow restaurant is among several to reach the finals of a big awards event.
Sugo Pasta - which is located on Mitchell Street in the city centre - has reached this year's finals for the Food Awards Scotland 2024.
The Italian eatery has been nominated for an accolade as part of the Restaurant of the Year Glasgow category.

The pasta venue will go against several other eateries in the city including El Santo, Chaophraya, Topolabamba, Glassy Central, Bella Vita, Katsu, Bilson Eleven, Number 16 Restaurant, and Kelp.
The event ceremony will take place on Monday, August 26 at the Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central.
Organisers of the awards say the event seeks to recognise the 'hard work and efforts' of those committed to always providing the country with the 'freshest of products and amazing delights'.
They will also showcase the best restaurants, takeaways, pubs, hotel restaurants, and cafes and bistros, as well as those who help us explore new flavours and cuisines from different cultures.

Meanwhile, the ceremony will provide a platform to make lasting business connections and boost the best businesses in 2024 and beyond.
Other Glasgow eateries to be nominated for awards include Smile Cafe, Cafe Fame, Kelvingrove Cafe, Zinfandel – Gastro Bar, and Rab Ha’s Pub/Eatery.
