A Glasgow volunteer is organising a hoedown to fundraise for children's charity Childline.
Gillian Robertson, a volunteer from the charity's base in the city, has arranged a night of line dancing at Grand Ole Oprey on August 29.
The Childline Hoedown event aims to raise money for the charity which is a free counselling service for children and young people that’s provided by the NSPCC.
The event will feature a DJ, a raffle, and a tuck wagon and bar.

Gillian, from Shawlands, said: "Some of the experiences young people have to endure are heartbreaking and Childline is somewhere they can turn to especially when the adults in their own life aren’t giving them the love and support they deserve.
“It feels good to be able to help in some small way and I want Childline to be able to help as many young people as possible.”
The 32-year-old is also planning a 50km trek along the Great Wall of China next September.
She will be taking part in the journey with 17 other volunteers and NSPCC staff, a team known as the "Tartan Trailblazers".
She said: “I’ve done a bit of long-distance walking in Scotland like the West Highland Way and the Fife Coastal Path plus a few Munros, but I am excited to go somewhere totally new.
“I think the scenery will be spectacular and it will be nice to be part of a team.”
Sandra Jones, community fundraising manager for NSPCC Scotland and organiser of the China Wall expedition, said: "We’re very grateful to Gillian for all her hard work in raising funds for Childline and I’m sure the Hoedown at the Grand Ole Oprey will be a great night for everyone.
“We are all really looking forward to doing the trek in China next year with Gillian. I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun along the way as well as raising money for a great cause.”
