A large emergency services response is currently in Glasgow city centre dealing with an unknown ongoing incident.
Police Scotland has deployed several marked police cars to the Wellington Street area while the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has appliances on site.
Blue police tape has sealed the road off while an officer stands guard preventing any access to the street.

Glasgow City Council's road department has asked drivers to avoid the area. It is closed to all traffic between Waterloo Street and Cadogan Street.
A spokesperson for SFRS confirms the incident appears to have occurred on Wellington Lane.

The location is in the city's financial district with insurance firms such as Esure operating in nearby Cadogan Street.
Traffic cops appearing to be at the scene.

In a statement on X, Police Scotland said: "Road closures are in place on Wellington Street between Cadogan Street and Waterloo Street, and Wellington Lane is closed between West Campbell Street and Wellington Street due to an incident that police were called to around 2.40pm. Please use an alternative route."
An SFRS spokesperson said: "We are currently in attendance alongside emergency service partners at an incident on Wellington Lane, Glasgow."
