A restaurant within an iconic Glasgow building has been put on the market.
The empty unit on the ground floor and basement of the Teacher building in St Enoch Square is described as a prime restaurant and bar opportunity.
Built in 1875 and originally used as a whisky company headquarters, the B-listed building has been subject to plans for a new restaurant, bar or pub many times over the years.
We previously reported that Sonder Ltd became the landlord of the upper floors of the property in January 2023, and they carried out refurbishments to transform them into 25 apartments.

The building owners are now letting out the restaurant and bar space with a guide price of £75,000 per annum.
There is 3,605 sqft of space over the ground floor and basement with the restaurant space potentially seating 101 covers, while the bar area has a capacity of 110.
In the bustling St Enoch square, the venue could enjoy regular footfall from city centre shoppers and those staying in the nearby hotels.
The Teacher Building was designed by architect James Boucher, who also contributed to the design of the Kibble Palace in the city's Botanic Gardens.
It housed the headquarters, offices and dram shop of the whisky company William Teacher and Son.
