A man has been arrested after a 'serious assault' in Glasgow city centre.
We reported how 999 crews raced to a report of a man allegedly being seriously assaulted on Union Street on Wednesday, August 14.
The incident took place at around 4.45pm outside the side entrance/exit to Glasgow's Central Station.

Following it, another man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Now, police have revealed a 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged attack.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, August 15, 2024.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault which happened in Union Street, Glasgow around 4.45pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
"He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, August 15, 2024.”
During the incident, we reported how cops sealed off part of the street.
An ambulance was also pictured parked further down the road.
