A woman has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in a busy Hamilton retail park.
Police say they were called to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Douglas Park Lane in the town on Thursday, August 15.
The force was alerted to the crash shortly after 11am.

Following the incident, an 86-year-old woman - who was the pedestrian - was taken to hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
Douglas Park Lane runs through Hamilton Retail Park in the town.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 11.20am on Thursday, August 15, 2024 we were called to a report of a collision involving a car and pedestrian on Douglas Park Lane, Hamilton.
“Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, an 86-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
