A man has been arrested in connection with a 'number of dishonesties' in East Kilbride.
Police say between Tuesday, August 13 and Wednesday, August 14, several properties and motors were allegedly targets of attempted theft in the Buchandyke and Burns Park areas of the town.
The force says two vehicles were reportedly broken into and several items were taken.

Now, officers have said a 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.
Police say he appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday, August 15.
Police Constable Alan Smith of East Kilbride Police Station said: “With the help and support of the public we will continue to target anyone involved in criminal activity.”
