Police have issued an update after they found a man dead in a flat amid a probe into an 'assault and robbery' in Glasgow.
We reported how police say they received a report of an alleged assault and robbery on a 28-year-old man in the Springfield Road area in the East End on Thursday, August 15.
The force was alerted to the incident shortly after 10pm.

Now, officers have revealed two men - aged 17 and 40 - have been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged robbery.
They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, August 19.
However, while police were investigating the incident, officers discovered the body of an unidentified man in a flat on the same street.
Currently, the force is treating the death as unexplained.
An investigation is ongoing to identify the man and establish the full circumstances.
Meanwhile, three men - aged 17, 28, and 40 - have been arrested in connection with 'assault', however, they have been released pending further enquiries.
Officers have revealed they are treating the incidents as being linked.
It is understood the 28-year-old man who reported the alleged robbery is the same man who was later arrested in connection with 'assault'.
The three men who were arrested and released pending further enquiries were not arrested in connection with the death of the man.
It comes after we reported police taped off part of the street outside a property in the area.
In images captured by the Glasgow Times, two officers can be seen standing on guard at the scene.
Meanwhile, two police units can be seen parked on the street.
On top of that, forensic officers were also pictured at the scene yesterday (Friday, August 16).

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 10.15pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024, we received a report of an assault and robbery on a 28-year-old man in the Springfield Road area of Glasgow.
"Two males, aged 17 and 40, have been arrested and charged in connection with the robbery and are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, August 19, 2024.
"While conducting enquiries into this incident, officers discovered the body of an unidentified man within a flat in Springfield Road.
"The death is being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing to identify him and establish the full circumstances.
"Three males, aged 17, 28 and 40, have been arrested in connection with assault and released pending further enquiries.
"At this time, officers believe the incidents are linked."
