A man is fighting for his life after an incident on a road in Cumbernauld.
We reported that two major roads were closed all night due to a crash involving one vehicle.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 9.05pm on Saturday, August 17.

The roads affected were the A8011 between junction 4a of the M80 and Back O’Hill Roundabout towards Cumbernauld Town Centre, and the A73 between junction 5 of the M80 and Chapelton roundabout.
The road reopened at around 12pm on Sunday, August 18.
The driver of the vehicle was rushed to hospital and cops say he is in a critical condition.
An investigation has been launched into the crash and detectives are urging anyone who witnessed what happened to get in touch.
