A community has been 'deprived of a vital resource' after a local defibrillator has been nicked.
Police say the life-saving piece of equipment was stolen from the wall of a property on Andrew Street in East Kilbride.
The force was made aware of the 'reckless' theft on Monday, August 19.

Now, cops probing the incident are urging anyone with information on it to come forward.
Slamming the incident, Community Policing Inspector Karen McColl said: "The theft of this lifesaving equipment is extremely reckless, has deprived the local community of a vital resource and could result in the loss of life.
"I'd urge anyone who has information about the theft or location of the defibrillator now to contact us as soon as possible."

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We are appealing following the theft of a defibrillator from a wall on Andrew Street, East Kilbride.
