Police who 'had reason' to speak to a man then made a 'discovery' in his vehicle.
Officers from the priority policing team spoke to a male who was in a vehicle on Livingstone Drive in East Kilbride on Thursday, August 22.
He and the vehicle were searched and the force say they recovered a quantity of cash, herbal cannabis and cocaine.
A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident and will appear in court from custody.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland Lanarkshire said: "We would urge anyone who has concerns or information about the sale and supply of drugs in their area to contact Police Scotland via 101. Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, call crime stoppers on 0800 555 111."
