Police have been spotted 'searching' near a Glasgow school.
Officers say they received a report of someone camping and possibly in possession of a weapon near Glenside Avenue in the Southside - which is close to Crookston Castle Primary School and Langlands School.
The force was made aware of the situation at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, August 21.

However, when they attended the scene, no one was tracked down and no weapon was recovered.
While police were carrying out their investigations, concerned residents took to social media to question what was going on.
One person claimed officers were searching around the school in the area.
Another added: "My oldest showed me pictures of a tent."
Following being called to the incident, the force has said anyone with concerns or further information should get in touch.
Meanwhile, the school has also issued a statement regarding the situation due to 'misinformation circulating' online.
They said: "We have been made aware of a number of rumours going around on social media last night.
"I would like to state that all of these rumours are unfounded.
"No staff member or pupil has been compromised or put in danger.
"On Friday, a bag containing camping items, was found near the school's grounds.
"This was immediately reported to the police.
"The police attended the school on Monday and took the items away.
"They said they had no concerns."

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 6.30pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, we received a report of someone camping and possibly in possession of a weapon near Glenside Avenue in Glasgow.
“Officers attended however no one was traced and no weapon was recovered.
“Anyone with concerns or further information should contact police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
