Three people were arrested after an alleged police chase that went on for over 30 miles.
Officers say they attempted to stop a vehicle on St Johns Road in Edinburgh shortly after midday on Tuesday.
They engaged in a pursuit of the car which finally stopped at Locket Yett View in Bellshill.
The occupants allegedly made off from the car and were found later by cops from the air unit using a helicopter.
Two men, aged 20 and 21, were arrested and charged in connection.
They were due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Wednesday, August 21.
Meanwhile, a 16-year-old male was arrested and charged in connection, then released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.15pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, a car failed to stop for officers on St Johns Road in Edinburgh.
“Following a pursuit the vehicle stopped in Locket Yett View in Bellshill.
“The driver and two passengers made off from the car and were traced a short time later following a search involving officers from the Air Support Unit.
"Two men aged 21 and 20 have been arrested and charged in connection and are due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 21 August.
"A 16-year-old male was also arrested and charged in connection and has been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date."
