A man has died after an incident on a Glasgow street in the early hours of this morning.
We previously reported that Bowfield Road in the city's Penilee was taped off by traffic cops and blocked by police vans.
This was due to an incident of a pedestrian being hit by a car at around 3.35am on Thursday, August 22.
The pedestrian, a 45-year-old man, was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he later died.

The driver of the car, a red Nissan Qashqai, was not hurt.
Officers kept the road closed for around nine hours while they carried out investigations.
They are now urging anyone who saw anything to get in touch to assist the probe.
Sergeant Ally Wright said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this very difficult time.
“Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone with information that could assist to please get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone in the area with dash-cam to check their footage and pass anything of note on to us.”
Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0315 of August 22, 2024.
