A warning has been issued as part of a major Glasgow road will be closed for one day night week.

Glasgow City Council says the eastbound carriageway of the A814 Clydeside Expressway between Victoria Park South, the A739, and the Glasgow Harbour on-slip at Stobcross Road is set to be shut from 8pm on Monday, August 26 until 6am on Tuesday, August 27.

Meanwhile, access points to the eastbound carriageway of the expressway will also be closed at Victoria Park Drive South, the A739 Balshagray Avenue and the Dumbarton Road on-slip at the Sawmill Flyover.

The council says the closures are in place to allow surveys and signage amendments to the overhead gantries on the road.

Diversions will be in place for motorists.
