A person has been rushed to hospital after an emergency incident on Glasgow's M8.
We reported how Traffic Scotland said the motorway's westbound carriageway at Junction 15 (Townhead Interchange) was left restricted after a multi-vehicle smash at around 7am this morning.
Now, the Scottish Ambulance Service has revealed they attended the crash.
The service sent two ambulances to the scene.

After that, one person was taken to hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson for the SAS said: "We received a call at 7.15pm today to attend a road traffic collision on the M8, Junction 15.
"We dispatched two ambulances to the scene and one patient was transported to Glasgow Royal Infirmary."
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
