A man told cops to "f**k off" and threatened them with a piece of plastic.

George Adamson was spotted by officers on June 3, 2022, driving on Broadholm Street in Glasgow's Parkhouse.

He was driving eastbound and picked up speed. Then, he took a sharp turn and increased his speed even more.

The 25-year-old was driving 50 miles per hour, he accelerated between parked cars and road works.

He sped past a pedestrian with a small child driving through 'give way' signs.

Adamson continued at excess speed between narrow spaces between cars until police lost sight of him.

On June 16, 2022, police went to his Summerston home on an unrelated matter.

Officers identified themselves and the man began to shout and swear, telling the cops to “f**k off”.

Police continued to tell him to let them in and Adamson started banging on the wall.

He yelled: “Get away from my f**king door, you don’t have a f**king warrant”.

He recognised one officer and said: “Oh no, it’s that f**king c**t”.

Adamson then began rummaging through another room.

Police forced entry and he appeared with a large piece of plastic.

He was told to drop it. He stated: “My f*****g door, you never had a f**king warrant”.

Adamson was arrested. He continued shouting: “Get off me p****s, I never did anything you c***s.

“This is a load of s***e.”

He continued: “See you, you’re a f*****g p***k, you have done me in before, you have it in for me”.

Fast straps were applied and he was arrested.

Adamson appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday after he pleaded guilty to driving without care, failing to stop for cops, and brandishing the piece of plastic.

It was revealed he was excused from appearing in the dock because he was in an accident shortly after the offences.

His lawyer said: "He is not going out and about at all."

Sheriff Vincent Lunny remarked: "It’s a shocking matter and police had good reason to be there."

The solicitor added: "He does accept responsibility.

"He made a complaint with Police Scotland as a result.

"But he accepts behaving like that."

Sheriff Lunny imposed eight penalty points on Adamson's licence.

He was also fined £200 plus a £10 victim surcharge.
