A specialist police team have launched an operation to hunt down the killer of a young woman in Glasgow.
We reported how cops were called to a property on Elmvale Street in Springburn at around 10.15am on Monday, August 26.
Brodie MacGregor, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene and following a post-mortem exam, the force is treating the case as murder.

Previously Police Scotland's Major Investigation Team - who are called in to probe crimes such as murder - said anyone who was in the area between 4.30am and 10.30am and saw anything should get in touch.
Now, detectives investigating the horrific incident have launched Operation SESHETA as part of their enquiries.
Officers have also set up an online portal and they are encouraging members of the public to submit any information in relation to the murder.

Detective Chief Inspector Lynsey Watters of the Major Investigation Team said: "An extensive investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding this death."
"If you have any CCTV or recording equipment, please review your footage as you may have captured images that could assist our investigation."
"There is an increased police presence in the area as our enquiries continue."
A spokesperson for Police Scotland added: Anyone who has any information in connection with the incident (including footage) can contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference number 0879 of August 25, 2024.
"Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.
"Detectives have set up an online portal to encourage members of the public to submit information."
Following the news of Brodie's death, tributes have poured in for the young woman.
One person wrote: "Rip Brodie, thoughts are with your son and family during this horrible time."
Another said: "Such a shame for this lassie."
A third added: "Poor wee girl. Thoughts and prayers with her family."
Meanwhile, another commented: "Absolutely heartbreaking, thinking of this beautiful girl's family."
And a fifth said: "Omg so young, RIP."
We previously reported that the community was left 'scared' following the harrowing news.
One neighbour told the Glasgow Times: “A woman is dead and they are doing some kind of investigation now.
"Not sure but it is all kicking off.”
A second person said: “I work nearby and the police have been here for so long.
"Pretty scary seeing all the vans and tape.”
A third person added: “There’s a real worry in the community. Something serious has happened.”
